Dr. Trina Lieske is a native Texan, originally from LaPorte, Texas. She received a BS in Biology from Baylor University, and attended the University of Houston College of Optometry for her Optometric Doctorate. She moved to North Texas in 1997 for her internships, and fell in love with the area. She has called Fort Worth home since 1998. Dr. Lieske is a Fellow of the College of Optometrists of Vision Development, is Board Certified by the American Board of Optometry, licensed by the Texas Optometry Board and is Therapeutic Certified to treat surface ocular diseases including glaucoma. Dr. Lieske's passion is to help children and adults be able to overcome vision problems that cause learning difficulties, behavior problems and/or cosmetic insecurities through the use of vision therapy. In 2013 Dr. Lieske opened the Lake Worth Eye School to be able to achieve her goals.
Dr. Lieske is usually in the office on Mondays through Thursday and every other Friday and Saturday. Exams are available with Dr. Lieske as early as 7:30 on most Tuesday.
Dr. Lieske is married with two children, a son and a daughter. She enjoys traveling around the country attending lectures and seminars on vision therapy, traumatic brain injury, vision related learning problems, autism, primitive reflexes and sports vision enhancement therapy. She also enjoys spoiling her dogs and munchkin cats, sewing, scrapbooking, scuba diving and traveling to any destination that has a beach or a Disney Park.
Dr. Lieske is a huge fan of baseball, especially the Texas Rangers. Dr. Lieske believes it is important to educate all young athletes on the importance of protection their eyes from sports related injuries as well as damage from UV rays.
